A three-part, in‑person workshop series exploring movement, film, and creative process, led by Joshua Faleatua and Tyler Carney‑Faleatua.

Threading Frames creates work at the intersection of dance, film, and theatre. This workshop series opens up our creative practice, offering participants practical tools, embodied research, and insight into how we develop work across disciplines.

The series is supported by Creative New Zealand and will be held in Naarm/Melbourne. Participants may attend one workshop or the full series. and is open to movers from all dance backgrounds, with some experience recommended.

This session focuses on movement as a storytelling tool. Drawing from contemporary dance, street dance, krump, and improvisation, we will explore flow, internal states and tools to use the body as the primary vessel for expression.

Open to movers from all dance backgrounds, with some experience recommended.
